The African National Congress Women's League Young Women's Desk will tomorrow, 1st August 2018, hold nationwide marches against the scourge of Gender Based Violence and Femicide, currently overwhelming our country.
The national event will proceed from Constitutional Hill to Chief Albert Luthuli House where a memorandum which consists of ways of dealing with these evil deeds against women will be handed over to the Secretary General, Cde Ace Magashule. The handover will be preceded by a moment of silence aimed at paying homage to all those who were victims of these heinous acts. This will be done through the formation of a human chain to show solidarity to the families of victims.
Women as well as men across all provinces are urged to wear black and make their voices heard.
